BubbleDeck slabs are suitable for use in all building types, and are particularly suited for open floor designs, such as commercial, educational and institutional buildings. Although the technology can be adjusted to suit almost any slab arrangements, our experience gained over more than 400 buildings completed around the world in the past decade has shown that most building uses fall into the slab categories shown in the table below.

Experience has also shown the most cost effective application of the technology is through semi-precast elements. The size of the elements should be maximised to increase cost efficiency, however this is generally limited by local transport restriction.

Typical dimensions are:

Width = 3m
Length = 9 to 14m
(depending on producer)

The slab types given in the table below can be applied over the following range of spans and strength. Note the final design will dictate the ultimate choice of slab.
